Monologues 4 U
Are you an actor, drama student or performer (or aspiring to be actor, drama student or performer)? Do you want a monologue written just for you? Then you have come to the right place! I would love to write a unique contemporary, stand-alone monologue for your audition, drama school class, theatre performance or any other reason, and deliver it to you within an agreed time frame.
Some things for you to consider…
- What do you want your monologue to be about?
- How long does your monologue need to be?
- What kind of monologue do you want? e.g. dramatic or comedic?
- Who is speaking, and who are they speaking to?
- Why are they speaking, and what might this reveal about themselves?
- Where does this take place?
- What character details are important? e.g. male/female, age, personality traits, goal, obstacles, emotional state?
- Do you need props and/or a costume to perform, and if so, what are they?
- What are your strengths as a performer?
You don’t need to answer all these questions; they are there to kickstart your thinking. But when you have given it some thought, contact me. We will probably communicate a little before I start writing, just so I am sure of what you’re after, but when we’re both happy, you pay me and I start writing.
When I have a first draft I’ll send it to you, and if not absolutely right for you I’m happy to make revisions. When you’re happy, I’m happy. Simple as that.
